Window opening problems

Took Trevor out for a quick blast today only problem is that the drivers window is now acting a bit daft !

Window auto-drops without a hitch.

The window goes up and down nicely when the door is open but as soon as you close it the switch does nothing.
Open the door again and it's fine.

When the door is closed the window then doesn't auto-close.

Set the alarm and the auto-close works (fortunately).

Passenger side works fine all the time.
The battery is fully charged.
Everything is probably drier now than it was last week and everything was fine then.

Any clues to which switches or electrical connections would be a good place to start.

Just gone back out to it and now the auto-drop and auto-close have stopped working

Take the door card off and clean up all the connectors, they get really messy in there and cause all sorts of problems.

Sounds like a plan.

Now, how do you get the door card off without breaking anything?
Last time I tried to remove one (not a TVR) I did more damage than good, so that was a serious question.

Simple, even I can do this . 7 alan bolts on the leading and bottom edge of the door. Just make sure you support the door card as you undo the last couple or it will drop on the floor.

Unplug the windows and doors control box that sits on top of the fuel tank and give that a good blowing out.
