Big and Busy Weekend For Cerbera V8 Racing

This weekend coming will se us competing in two different events.

On Friday the 15th of June we will be racing in the TVR challenge Tom Stewart memorial race at Donnington.

This is really shaping up to be a great event. With all the usual Tuscan challenge cars competing there will also be potentially 7 invitation class entries. Me in the AJP Cerb, the Green Sagaris, Andy Holdens white sag, 3 GTF Sagaris and hopefully the new ls3 powered cerb. All of which sounds very exciting!

Then on Friday night we will be heading down to Brands hatch in the GT Cup. Were on the Indy (short) circuit this time which suits the cerb much better, much twistier and fewer straights.

The support races consist of the Heritage Grad Touring cars, The MINI Challenge, Radicals and the Ginetta Challenge.

Quali will take place on Saturday with two races on the Sunday. We have had to add another 20kg of ballast but I’m not to concern it just means the car will have to be pushed that little bit harder. It’s about time we were back on the top step of a podium!

As always it would be great to see you guys there! We're in Garage NO 2.

My boys and I are gearing ourselves up to support you Mike. You got some great pics in this months sprint coverage too. Good luck to you and all tiv racing. Can't wait!! We'll see u at the pits.

Very special TVR racing as you have mentioned.
Action packed day with Qually and 2 races. The seconds is at 18:25 so time to get there after work for some.

If you need any help over the Donnie section, crew wise, packing up i mean (don't think you need any help on the track!!!) we will all be happy to lend a hand/speed things up if poss. We all have our regular mechs/crew/hospitality etc

Thanks to ALL the invitation guys who are making the effort when its not an easy fit in their own calenders. Andy Holden has zero crew and will need help to even get out in his car!
Such is the enthusiasm of the TVR paddock!

For spectators, entry is free, WTCC are out with others and free Tea/coffee is on site in the DTEC hospitality.

Update to Sunday's first race. Mike has had to pull out due to a very visible water leak. He was doing terrifically well up to 4 or fifth from 8th on grid. Find out more when we visit pit.

Just had a chat with Mike and his Dad, great news to him for Fridays win at Donnington. Today's problem turned out to be a loose jub clip on rad hose. Such a shame as Mike was confident he could have been on the podium. Second race is going to be tough as it's now pretty wet. We will still be cheering you on Mike!!
