Sounds cheap to me. Would expect to pay around £3-400 for good quality drive shafts that are up to the job.

Is it just me, or does this remind anyone else of the sketch...

"The watch has a lifetime warranty - the mainspring breaks and slashes your wrist."

I explained it was an LS engined thingy, didnt phase him one bit.
Said it was "no quibble" so cant argue with that!

Better than "your cars too powerful".

So if the driveshaft doesn't let go, what will?

If all is appropriately sized and of the correct material strength in the drive drain, the failure will be traction. smile

Excellent traction will lead to another failure - non TVR type folks ability to accept the 1/4 mile times or that it can still be classed as a TVR biggrin

The Diff is the same as in many muscle car Auzzy V8's, Monaros etc, they weigh 400kg more than mine, one of the boys on here is running around a 1000bhp.
They dont break theirs!
But these Driveshafts are getting silly..
Been over and ordered them today, he says the secret is in the material and treatment, the fact he offers lifetime warranty offers a little peace of mind.

only downer, like i say 3 weeks frown

I will put a stock driveshaft in so i can use on the street, i may put a block of wood under the loud pedal to restrict power! hehe

OK, so I don't have as much power but I was starting to worry for my drive shafts on Saturday. I'll be interested to hear how these stand up to a bit of abuse.

Bit of a bump..

Price and the lead time have increased somewhat since this post!

I assume they are still going strong though Brummmie?

Looking at options atm..

Still going strong, i think they are still the only ones with a no quibble lifetime so still a good choice.

Tbh.. If you haven't broken them, I don't think anyone will!

A lot of money for driveshafts, BUT, pretty much guaranteed not to break, lifetime warranty, and if you look at it as cost over new standard/Powers uprated shafts, it isn't so bad!

If anything, if it breaks, the next one is free, hassle in replacing is the same bar the order lead time, but no wallet emptying every time.

I didnt realise they have been in so long, they have done tons of track days and Drag meets, several 10 second quarters, previous to this i had dropped around a thousand pounds on drive shafts that kept breaking, its really a no brainer.
