May I ask a few Cerbera questions?

Not in any particular order of importance.

How does a 6 ft 3in 18 stone lardy git fit in a Cerbera? Comfy?

Can 16 inch wheels be fitted to all of them?

With 16's on, how is the ride? (I bought and quickly sold a Merc AMG C43 this year as I couldn't stand the hard ride)

Is it a very fast GT or is it a sportscar?

How would one cope with living outside all year, quite happy to do lots of polishing and waxoiling etc, but anything else that would make you think it would suffer outside?

How easy is it to live with on a day to day basis?

How big is the fuel tank? What the range?

MPG? (Obviously not too bothered about this or I'd be looking at a diesel smart car, but I'd wince a bit if its 15mpg on a run.)

I will try to answer a few.

If you dont like the ride in a merc don't bother with a TVR they are quite firm and it smooth ride is not really what they do.

MPG best i ever see is around 19 norm is about 15mpg last night on the track single figures

It is a fast sports car or a GT depend how you use and drive it

Well no offence but Jezza Clarkson fitted in one ok, my remapped 4.5 does 30mpg on a run m way/ fast A road stuff and 18-20 on local razzing.

Both fast GT and Sports car but prefers smooth stuff it is a fairly hard ride but can be adjusted to suit.

67 litres or 15 gallons

It was seeing and hearing your car that got me thinking, they've kind of been on my peripheral radar for a long time, great looking car. Having bought and quickly sold the C43 this year because of the hard ride I'm very cautious about the Cerbera. Need to sell the 911 too, but I saw a Cerbera for sale today that I really liked.

And afterall, eight is the correct number of cylinders.

Personally I think the ride is excellent, certainly far better than S-line Audis or other such poorly suspended stuff. I recently upper the spring rates significantly on mine and still find it to ride very well.

GT or sports car? Hmmm, difficult one that. The AJP is most definitely a sports car engine, the rest of the package though can vary depending on how things have been changed over the years. In standard spec I'd say super GT, think DB9 but quicker. However, with a less social exhaust, stiffer bushes and suspension, it quickly crosses over into pure sport car territory.

I get about 18 mph knocking around locally and low 20's on a motorway run.

Mine has lived outside ungaraged for the last 4 years without any problem. You may need to do some initial work to make it watertight, but it is not difficult and once done it is fine outside.

The ride on mine is a lot less harsh than the new Merc c220 sport I've got as a courtesy car atm. Whoever tuned the suspension on that should be shot...

Mine will be outside mainly. What work have you done?

I needed to re-seal round the brake reservoir to stop the leak into the drivers footwell, and re-seat the passenger side door seal. Water was seeping under the seal at the top of the A pillar and running down inside the seal and out at the bottom of the door frame.

If you search on here there is a list of all the likely leak sites on the car. Its just a case of working through ensuring it is water tight.

Personally I'm a shorty so no idea, but the buy I bought it from was very tall and had no issues. - He bought a 4.5

Old ones have 16" wheel, most have been swapped to 17" as they are better. I personally think 17" wheels with 40 profile tyres look good and handle well, but that's my preference. My car is set soft and high as I often have 3 up in mine. No issues at all with it.

For a car it's blooming fast. Get the launch good and you can take most things apart from true exotica or big bikes. I beat a 550bhp supercharged monaro on a drag run and he had traction and launch control. However, it's also a blooming fast, comfy GT car.

Treat it - stick it in a garage, or maybe an outdoor carcoon

Mines really nice to drive, I end up stalling the wifes mx-5 after driving mine Fuel tank is 15 Gallons - I put £83 in mine last week - GULP!

MPG - how heavy is your right foot? I can average around 22, 18 if I've had some fun, 25-27mpg on a gentle run at 80-85. I got around 5-8mpg at Castle Coombe trackday
