Cerebra as a company car???

Hi all,

Some years ago I had a great 1997 4.2, loved it to bits but had to let her go when I needed to get myself in to a house. Now I am in said house, I find myself owning my own consultancy business and doing ok out of it and I was wondering if I should get another Cerbera.

Then I wondered if I could run it through my business, which is a limited company I own 100%. I don't do great milage, heathrow every couple of months ANS the odd trip to Luton, I live in Chelmsford. I expect my annual milage would be about 6,000.

So, I'm looking at a post 1998 V8, with standard lights, not blended I want pods!

Does anyone have any experience of running a TVR through a business, TAX implications for example?

It will cost you a fortune to run through the co as your tax is based on its new value etc...
Personally I just buy my cars and dont put them through the co. It is really a question for your accountant?

Yep, thought that was the case, but I'm on holiday and I thought I'll ask the question. I suspect it will be a private car @45p/mile

I did it until the accountant found out. We now have to do a milage sheet every month and the rest has to be part of the dividend payment.

I loved your car, top of my list, with Longbow's just behind. Currently thinking about V8 OOMF
