Make me feel better please ....

So this year I have completed my usual trip to Le Mans and broken my throttle cable. First time that my Cerb has (nearly) left me stranded.

I've also spent too much money on getting the front end resprayed and so today I thought I would enjoy today's weather in the Cerb. Tried getting the Cerb out of the garage and I can't engage any gears at all.

Don't think it's the clutch, only had it done a few thousand miles ago, and the pedal isn't completely limp

Fellows PHers please tell me I'm not looking at another big bill ...

If you can't get any gear it is much more likely to be clutch than gear box. Try bleeding it and see how you get on. Keep any eye out for pools of fluid! If it's the master cylinder then it's very straightforward and cheap to change.

As said above check the clutch fluid, could just need a top up =]

Any gears sounds like fingers, slave or master....all clutch related.

As its happened all of a sudden that would probably rule out fingers.

As said before slave is more expensive than master coz of access to where it is.

I split up with Miss Robsco this morning after 3 wonderful years and I'm beyond devastated. Does that improve things for you?

Hopefully it could be just the fluid level. Don't think it's going to be the fingers, fixed this a couple of years ago.

All I need now is a flat bed to get me to the garage.

That's about the limit of my knowledge as well. Come to think of it my expertise in wine is definitely greater than my expertise in cerbera clutches.
