Posted a wee while back about a rattle in the rear of the exhaust. Thought it was a stone that the wee kids had put down it. If it is a bit of the baffle broken off does this mean I need a new exhasut? My local dealer mentioned this over the phone to me. Is it also possible to take the exhaust apart(un-bolt it) and simply let the piece of loose metal, stone just fall out???

CHeers!

The loose baffling can be extracted but it'll be loud once it's done. I expect the remainder of the baffling will start to come loose too.

This happened to me over time. In the end I put on a new back box.

Had Trev down at the dealer yesterday! Was a loose heatshield. So much for stones and baffles. 2 mins and sorted. Thanks Glenvarigill!

Yup, not heard a peep from anyone for a month then 3 people within two days!

Am not sure now that I want to sell Trev now that someones coming to have a look at him. I'll have nothing to look forward to at the weekends/sunny days etc. If the guy likes it then fair enough(he's never driven one before), if not then way hey were showing off for that bit longer. I'll be back though in the not to distant future if everything goes ok with the old business plans.
