I have hexagonal ends on my 4.2 cams and the lobes have worn.
It's a 97 engine. How unique are they and has anybody had theirs replaced with the up to date ones?

I had mine done last year:

Cams - less than £200 each
buckets etc £4-500
labour is a pig as its an engine out job (though some clever indies may be able to do it with the engine in)

timing is also a pig as there are no timing marks.

I don't know if parts supply has improved, but a couple of PH'ers were waiting for age for cams as the factory don't have any!
