Anyone know where the dashtop vents are from?

Presumably the later Cerbs (earlier ones have the vents under the top of the dash right? although I guess they could be the same vent)
One of the vanes of the round vent is missing allowing hot air through all the time, I called Racing Green parts and they don't have it, anyone know what car its from? It has a little 'S' on the moulding and it looks like ones I've seen on Italian exotica. Or anyone got one laying around?

Just out of curiosity, what is the function of the early dash vents? They don't do anything except blow air straight onto the bottom half of the dash?

No they don't - the vent is closed by vanes that you can angle and are set in a bezel that you can rotate. You can direct air to anywhere in the passenger compartment with those vents. I find them pretty effective.

Elise vent, it is exactly the same as my vent in the trans tunnel...

The Cerb vents on top of the dashboard aren't the lotus ones afaik. I doubt Apm will have them but I suspect a scrappy will.

The vents that I have are not directional. There are about 10 or so round holes by the bottom of the windscreen, about 1/2 inch in diameter

Thats the other vents for clearing the screen. I think robsco is referring to the two large round vents in the underside of the upper part of the dash. The black ones in the middle

It has the properties of being swiviley and directiony, lives on top of a Dashboard on a Lotus, and also lives in my TVR Transmission tunnel, so not a really wild assumption??

But it swivels and directs, so if you cant get the same one, change them both?

The later cerb top dash vents are very different to earlier cerbs but as Brummie says there are plenty of vents the same size but maybe not the same design.
