How do you know if you've had a remap?

Was just wondering, previous owner never mentioned it, but she drives so well at low speeds, I can be in 5th by 35mph and just purr along.
I have the long inlets so they have not been changed, but I wondered if it'd had some ECU work done prior to the previous owner.

Normally if you look at the EPROM inside the ECU it will have a label on it. I think only 2 people map these cars and I would have thought they would put there own label on the ECU to identify that it is non standard map inside the EPROM. the ecu is mounted behind the trim in the passenger footwell area.

My 97 had Cooling chip and re map a few years ago. marked on the chip with initials and date.
