Due to imminent arrival of first child sadly having to sell our Chimaera. It is our third car, but even so my wife thinks it won't get much use as no room for us and baby! (Unfortunately I think she's right) Is Cerbera answer to our problems? Does anyone have experience of a targa / convertible conversion?

There has never been a convertible Cerb.

There has been a moon roof in development by someone for many years, the project has probably stopped though by now.

So its FHC or another marque unfortunately...

Cerbera is your answer for the small back seats...but not the targa top.

The saftey cage would get in the way so wouldn't give a clear open targa roof.

Thanks for the above - but I am sure that I have seen an advert in Sprint (or somewhere) with a company which sells a targa conversion. Maybe I'm going senile!

No you are not... The ad is a company called Newlund design, or something similar. I have been wondering the very same thing. Looking at the T350T on the Motorshow stand (in yellow with some very nice bare carbon roof panels) I cannot see why a similar thing could not be done to a Cerbera. Pleanty of room between the front & rear roll cage cross members for a decent sized pair of removable panels.

i have also heard of a cerbera that was "converted" with what amounts to a large sunroof across the entire roof.

Yeh but such a thing would simply ruin the Cerb IMHO.
