fuse ?

Easy one i hope guys came home tonight and noticed the dash lights etc will not illuminate also no lights on door buttons etc.Indicator lights work and flash works etc.Have looked in handbook but i cant find the fuse that controls this function any ideas welcome.suspect the headlight switch may be the problem or am i barking up the wrong tree;)

I have looked at the wiring diagrams and as far as I can see the dash and doors are on two totally separate wiring looms. Which is odd that the lights are not working on both?

But I can just about wire up a plug nevermind work out electric plans.

Lol i have been looking and was sure they are all on the same circuitcant find a fuse or relay that relates to it.will have a look in the morningme thinks

Yes same circuit when all joined together.

My eyes have fallen out trying to trace each connection from dash bulbs to squiggly bits on the diagrams

Ok all fuses fine,no damp anywhere its got to be the headlight switch aint it.all the other electrics work fine(I say that in a figure of speech).There appears to be a ribbon cable that comes off the switch do these play up?when the rain stops will jump power to the illumination cable and see what happens

Nice and sunny outside so I'm off to cut the lawn.... I always thought there was one ribbon until I started investigating and they are all over the place. The LED on the door is on the window loom as far as I can work out if that helps.

Just say no and I will get back to my books

On the mending bright side (no pun) I changed the glass on the snake tank which I smashed last night when Trevor my python fancied me for tea. And yes he's Trevor after TreVoR.

lets hope you and me never start a tvr buisness together cos we would be bouncing the wrong ideas off each other for years,mind you our lawns would look good,bet you aint got lights around the gardenWell i have although they dont work either

Just gone round spraying weed killer all over the place funny enough

I have lights down the drive which a visitor thought it funny to reverse into on their way out.

Still no joy,people keep coming around so cant get a good run at it.Ribbon cable looks fine,as do all the connections so will keep looking

If everything is working but the bulbs in the dash and door ( open button ) then because they are two joined looms then there must be a simple break or earth failure which connects them both. Are both LEDs in the doors not working and are there any other lights not working.

All interior lights are working everything fine its just the lights that should come on when you turn the side light/headlight switch on.seems no power is coming from switch to feed power in the car.will give it a good check on sunday when i have more time
