Laying up for six months

Sad, but I am going to have to lay the cerbie up for around 6 months as I am off to NY to sort out a mini crisis.
Other than hooking up to my trickle charger anything else I should do ???
Car is running like a dream at the moment, and as it's a keeper I want to keep it that way...

unless it's rust proof, leaving the tank full would stop it rusting on the inside.

Aren't the tanks ally?

Either way leaving it full will also help prevent the lighter components of the fuel evaporating out and "spoiling" the fuel.

Stick it up on axle stands, gives the suspension a break from being in one position and stops flat spots on your tyres. Reason for a full tank is to stop any moisture getting in as well. I layed my Tvr's up for 6-8 months until Scottish weather came back. i just disconnected the battery.

I agree with full tank and axle stands. Would disconnecting the battery run the alarm backup battery flat though (even if it's not armed)? Trickle charger might be a safer bet.

axle stands yes, but perhaps not under the outriggers.

I work 3 weeks on 3 off and i disconnect mine every time i go away on a trip never had any issues did the same with my chim for the last 3 years as well to no ill effects.

Not sure about axel stands, got some but seems a bit ott, might put carpet under the wheels
