Where to get bits of trim?

Hey,

I've had my Cerbera just over a week now. Loving it so far.

I'm missing a couple of silly little items as was wonddering where I can get them from. First off the clip in the bonnet to take the bonnet stay. Then there is one of the rubber stops that the top edge on the bonnet rests on when it is closed. Finally I am missing one of the screw things on the top of the front seats.

PS are there any other Oxfordshire owners? It would be nice to meet up with a few people.

There was a thread here a while back regarding replacement rubber "mushrooms" for the bonnet, as a few people had them missing.

TVR Power seems to have pretty much everything you could want too. If you can't see it on their website its always worth giving them a ring. They have seldom let me down.

I have read a couple of posts here that say that parts, especially for AJP's are getting scarce.

In your combined experience, are there parts that can now be forseen to being hard to find in the near future?

Is this also the case with the Speed Six, as those appeared in more cars?

I live in Oxford and, if you read this in time, the TVRCC Oxford has it's meet tonight at The Black Horse, Standlake OX29 7RH (7:30ish). Sort of half way along the A415 between Witney and Abingdon.

I'm actually able to go tonight so I could see you there. Click on my user name to see which car is mine. Good to have another Cerb in the area as we seem to be getting a bit thin on the ground recently.

Racetech arent far away and my brother lives in Henley so I may send him in!

As for the meet tonight... I'm working lates at the moment. What time do you wrap up I'm about half an hour away!

There's not too much in an AJP other than the crank, castings and cams that are AJP specific, all the chains, seals, bearings etc are off the shelf stuff and I've seen no shortage of most other bits and pieces. The liners can be had from 3rd party outlets, the pistons are easy to find, both standard and modified or indeed have them made for not much money, the cams can be bought or made from a good one as a pattern. Not so sure about cam followers though. I would bet they are from something else but never identified what it is. Apparently old clutch covers for rebuilding are getting scarce, and I know I bought the last original drivers side exhaust manifold but there are a couple of aftermarket ones available. The oil pump is the same on the S6 and V8 I believe, the seals and bearings for the water pump are off the shelf items. Such things as throttle bodies can be rebuilt and unless they are totally destroyed they shouldn't pose a problem.

Oh that's a shame, I was hoping someone could identify them. I posted on Jag and Ford forums with the dimensions (what on earth is a French Royal Inch?), but no luck.
