Steering Wheel Repair

Hi

Just got another cerbera and got a few little niggles, one being that the steering wheel is a bit worn. Previous owner had it painted a couple of years ago but the paint has all worn off. Any ideas as to where I could get the steering wheel recovered for a not unreasonable sum?

I am getting mine re-trimmed in Green alcantara at a cost of £130 if i wanted leather it would be £70

Using a local car trimmer who has a first class rep.

I'm very tempted to get mine retrimmed too. Alcantara steering wheels make cars faster. Fact.

Furthermore if you put a 10mm wide band of yellow tape around the top of the steering wheel it will go even faster.

My main reason for Alcantara over leather is my hands get very sweaty in the Cerb and have found the wheel slipping out my hands on very hot days. And Alcantara steering wheel is worth 15bhp more, fact
