Drivers door woes!

I'm having some electrical problems with my Cerb (no surprise there!)
Since I got the car the drivers outside door switch has been a little intermittent and the passenger side reed switch also.
As they have now failed totally I have bitten the bullet and have bought new switches and reeds all round. Passenger door is now fine but the drivers door still won't open from the outside!
Is there another weakness apart from the switch itself?

I have a spare door/window control box which I have swapped over, so I know it's not that!

To clarify, you press the button and it doesn't fire to servo behind the driver's door?

Check you have power to the servo perhaps? Check there is power when you fire the button?

I'm assuming the servo is fine as it works OK with the inside switch!

I'm checking the voltage to the switch at lunchtime.

Which buttons and reeds did you use? (part numbers and supplier would be super smashing )

Mine are dodgy on inside drivers and outside passengers - so replacing them would be a 'good thing'

Check and clean the connections in the multi-plugs inside the door.

They are well known for being troublesome but a good clean and a spray with electrical contact cleaner usually sorts them out.

There's yet another connector inside the door!

^ This. The problem is more likely to have been the connectors than either the buttons or reed switches them selves. They are definitely the weak point. Replacing all the door connectors with quality waterproof AMP ones completely fixed my persistent door electrical problems.

Just re-trimed my door cards and what there is a multi plugin the passengers side for mirror and inside door button controls

On the passengers just the button for the inside wiring

Hope this is of help no pictures sorry should have taken some when in there but it is just all the allen cap screws around the inside door edge to remove the door skins
