You guys are always a font of knowledge, so how about these ones…
-- Dam wipers seem to wipe everywhere but the beer-mat sized patches directly in your line of sight. New ones no different. Any magic tips?

Point 2. Mine has a plate/sticker on the diff that says Hydratrak - but I think there are other visuals too.

Mines got a White sticker on the under side of the diff saying HYDRATRAK

You definitely shouldn't be spinning the inside rear like that coming out of Ashes. That's where your speed over the line went!

I'd say it was a broken Hydratrak im afraid. As inconsistant as they are in feel/ locking, I wouldnt expect any LSD to allow that level of slip... the standard 4.2/S6 diff is a friction type, which IMHO is far more consistant and better for it. We've also suffered a broken hydratrak, if you know Shelsey hillclimb at all, it was my Dad that left a very very dark single line the whole length of the top straight...

We replaced it with a Quaife ATB, which is mighty - will eventually do the same to our new T350c. It is massively more consistant and locks up lightening fast - the result is far better traction in a TVR - it makes a fair bit of difference to your confidence in the car IMHO.

Don't think Dad got on well with Gurston, will try it in the T350 sometime though, looks like a good mix of fast and slow to me?

ah ha...so tell me more about cost / time it took to repalce?
Other option i was wonderring about was to see if it could just be tightenned up?

Yep, yep, seen it. Does look quite fun, and for a hillclimb, pretty safe!

Cost... err, lots. But as the car was 72k miles old at the time, we felt it necessary to get the diff effectively refreshed. I honestly cant remember the cost, but it was north of a grand and we removed/ re-fitted it ourselves. All done direct through Quaife - they dont list the Cerb on their website (or atleast didn't before) but it is the same unit as a Morgan Aero8 apparently and cost wise.

Not sure what you mean about tightening it up, hydratrak is not a friction type/ plate type diff, I think you could possibly replace the fluid/ rebuild it, but we used it as an opportunity to upgrade.

Fitted Leven Technology arms and blades to mine a couple of months ago they are fantastic grip the screen like a limpet to a rock, the springs on my old arms were shot

Thx. Mines only on 32k miles. Annoying the diff seems so useless. Wonder how much cheaper finding the non-hydra Cerb option diff would be? Your one more of a performance race one right? (Sounds good if so).

Don't know if anyone sells them, but I know the cerb roll bars came in different sizes originally so if you currently have some of the thinner ones then you may be able to swap to OE thicker ones. Going by the poly bushes available, front came in either 22mm or 25mm, rear came in 18mm, 22mm, 25mm or 28mm.
