Subtle front end changes

One of my potential winter projects after buying BCA's amazing Cerb, is to have a respray and freshen up the front end a touch...after buying her knowing she was in "used motorsport" spec, my thoughts have been in cosmetic changes of the front end as well as maybe the wing mirrors, current thoughts are Audi TT mk2 with LED indicators, so I mocked up the below from current pH adverts with how I think she will look....

So time to play a little bit of spot the difference!! :-)

The changes look ok, but to be honest it looks ok original, why not just get it resprayed in a nice colour with a headlight conversion front/back that way it still fits with the Cerbera look. I think that if you change it then when it comes to selling, it won't be that easy as you are relying on someone liking your design and as good as it may be its sure to not appeal to everyone. But it's your car so do with it as you please.

White the front end,then carry two white stripes back along the roof.I do love the headlight conversion on cerbs,but think it looks meaner with its original look.I love the race look on any car so a motorsport inspired car will always go down well.Why not try a wrap on the front end?,this way you can take it back to standard if you dont like it.

I'd leave it as it is for now, save your money for an engine rebuild which I am sure bca said was due reasonably soon. If it really needs paint then keep it original whilst minimising spend?

Well if I can get the bank account where Im hoping for it to be after whatever bonus comes my way in Jan, then I should be ok for a re-build (perhaps RR upgrade) and re-spray.

Either black or white would serve well as a base colour for any vinyls I put on her after. Ive already taken her to a couple of wrapping shops to investigate a full cover, but the amount of prep work involved to get her ready +would be very similar to the value of a full re-spray, so I would rather go that route.

I dont think the changes over a standard "pod" head light conversion are too radical and hopefully make her look just that bit more modern. Ie losing the wing repeater, the low level front indicator, adding led wing mirrors. Having seen the single headlight in black and white "in the flesh", I think they both suit the more aggressive headlight conversion better imo.

Just out of interest, are the Side Repeaters an MOT requirement? They seem to be missing on all your examples (except your car).

Yeah I airbrushed them out to see how it looks without, and looking at cars fitted with LED wing mirror, they don't have other side repeaters. Quite like the look of the mk2 Audi TT mirrors, I think they would go nicely with the headlight change, but of course all depends if they can be made to fit. Depending on my photoshop skills, I might try and cut/paste onto a Cerb.

Got to say that white cerb looks feckin smart,did see her at Dulfords having some work done this year.

I agree, the second shot of the white one looks pretty good, the door sill line flows around nicely. Not normally a fan of front end mods but could live with that. Interesting idea about changing the door mirrors..
