Well what a stress this little part of ownership has been till today.The quotes from garages are stupid,they all tell you different things.well popped into one place and was told 1600 plus vat or there abouts?.Twenty minutes later i call another garage that specialise in tvr's and other high end toys;)What a totally different storey,the owner owns a 4.5 cerb and had a 30 minute chat with me about the process,ie how you dont have to cut the fibre glass etc etc which is what i wanted to know.the outcome is that one side with a complete new outrigger will cost £500+vat,or both sides done for £900+ vat.Am having both sides done in December and will report back once the job is done

lol sorry fellas the garage is MB motorsports,very nice chap to chat with cant wait to get it done now,have been home ill so have time to call around.have also decided to purchase the kbs paint system to bring the chassis back to her former glory

Mines gonna need a general chassis clean up & inspection.Dreading it..£££££... Already got an engine rebuild on the horizon....

Which leads me to my next question: wots the going rate for a kidney? (& I hope I have 5 of them!)

Lol these renovation ramps will cost me a fortune.I will have to do this lot in stages.Good idea with the hob nobs and i may chuck in a mars bar too
