Do these actually stop the leaking? I thought the problem was the heat in that area killing the seals, will it not do the same to this unit.

Of course adding more red bits to the car can only make it faster, as we all know red ones are the fastest after all!!!!!!

Thanks Ben, I think I'm sorted now. It's going somwehere pretty local, there's a guy offered his trailer and vehicle, or I may just bleed it one more time, and make a dash for it.

I've asked lots, and those that seem to have them fitted say they have had no more problems. I've got to try something as it's driving me nuts currently so hopefully my research will bear out the fact.

Sorry to shift, albeit temporarily, the conversation to the technical side

BUT

I was talking to a Guy who "Knew all about these things" and he said that the seals blew (?!) because of the incompatibility (and therefore oxidisation) on the surfaces of the original unit (i.e. Steel and Alloy).

The all Alloy RP Unit, I was further told, removes this incompatibility and, therefore, seal degradation.

'Tis a thing of beauty though
