512bhp AJP 4.5 wow

May be all we need to do is stick our engines in an old skool ford and watch the BHP go skyward. Never seen a figure like this before. TVR power, Austec, Raceproved 4.7, 4.8 eat your heart out.
Ive seen this several times on trackdays, its quick when it works! but my 306 rallye does 3 times as many laps in a day. Think the guys who own it have something to do with TV series TOP GEAR.

Its been a while so excuse me high jacking this thread but who holds the record these days and whats the mods? Not including LS engines as thats A) cheating and B) too easy

Long time no hear Craig, hows life in the Sun, I should have been out your way next year, well to the east of your before you get wet, but more likely to be summer of 13, if you'e still out there I'll drop you a line as it's half a day across the mountains.

To answer the question I would imagine one of the race cerbs has the outright power record for the AJP8, knocking a real 480hp.

Hey Harry! Alls good here. I'll be here for a wee while yet as still loving it and with no signs of the UK getting better in any way shape or form its the best option.

Defo get in touch if you end up in Oman or where ever. The mountain roads are great for a drive. I'll happily come over one weekend and book in to a hotel and we can catch up.

Its like memory lane at the moment out here. I've got Phil Adams coming for a visit next month. I've bumped into some old TVR guys from back home and Clair/Gaffer has just started work with a friend of ours in Dubai LOL

As I said it'll probably be a little while yet, haven't seen or heard from Phil for a while not since he bought a whippet and went north.........give him my regards.
Haven't been to Dubai for quiet a few years, last time I recall the Air Emirates training school turning out for the night was the highlight . I don't suppose it's changed much, then again there were only about three bars in town then

Only difference is more Emirates Girls, more bars and aparently some more worlds largest something or anothers LOL
