Speed six or V8? It the former then I have no idea! Probably behind the engine and under scuttle panel, inside a black plastic box?

However whilst looking i found this;
The fuse on the right was only connected to one of the red wires so i assume both should be in there

Any ideas also what is the motorola box for????

Might have something to do with the radio but without looking at the wiring diagrams I would not have a clue.

On the rear of the box there seems to be a backup battery
a black lead about two meters long snakes around behind the upholstery to disappear into it[The box]
on the otherr end is nothing

Hi.

That's a tracker. I used to be a dealer for these - they are locked to the chassis number of the car so there is no point in the previous owner taking it with them. If you phone tracker up with your chassis number they will re activate it for you if you want (you will have to pay subscription on it - around £100 from memory)
