Does anyone know of,or has anyone made any sort of covers for the front seatbelt mounting. The ones which your kids,if they're like mine bang their heads on when in the back.

The point does come up regularly on the "are Cerbs child friendly" threads so I would imagine that if someone managed to fabricate something it would sell.

So can anyone point me in the right direction? Or if they don't currently exist would any of you magical engineering type people fancy giving it a go? If you do put me top of the list! Would anyone else be interested?

Failing that I'll make him wear a helmet! hehe

I'd be interested in hearing if anyone has come up with something, I have the same problem when cornering as the seat belt mounting does make contact with their heads. Not nice for them, alhough they are aware of it now so tend to counter lean which helps.

How about these as first attempts, The black one is a knee pad inside a case, its very safe but a bit too hard to be comfortable, the light one is a small cushion and whilst its probably more comfortable the padding is not quite as effective. In both cases held on to the seatbelt extension with a single large tiewrap

Of course it matters what they look like! This is a Cerbera FFS! Not a bloody Kia Picanto.

They're only the engineering prototypes I'll get thhe designer ones made next.

It had to happen because the reason for buying a 'sensible 4-seater' was to be able to take the kids out.

My worry would be that in an accident any back seat passengers would end up with nasty head injuries regardless of any padding. It might protect against minor knocks, but in anything more than a very minor shunt would it make much difference?
