Act throttle pot bearing kit

Is the Act throttle pot bearing kit a worth while upgrade? i'll be replacing mine soon so wondering whether to get them before i change them.

Also my birthday next month and the girlfriend is asking me what i want, think might be a bit much asking for a remap, so how about replacing the hoses with silicon and the water pipes?

Done polybushing, shocks, airboxes, induction hoses (although not short induction), decatting, exhausts.

I can see what the bearings are trying to achieve and I am sure it is possible for there to be slop in the throttle actuating rods however I would think that the play in the throttle linkage its self has far more effect. Maybe if you have rose jointed the linkage rod and still have play in the throttle pots, this might be helpful.

If there is play in throttle actuating rod then presumably the butterflies are moving around in the throttle bodies too. Stabilising them certainly sounds like a good idea, but I think I would be taking some very careful measurements with a dial gauge first to see if there really was a problem to solve. Interesting idea though.

Water pipes is always a good one to get done and now ACT also do a stainless version of the small pipe for the heater, which on my car was by far the rustiest of all the manky water pipes.
