Is now ordered and on its way
,cant wait till the morning now as i will be removing the diff hopefully first thing,and then will continue with the rubbing down process.Have told(asked)wifey i will not be home all weekend as the car needs some love
.Have drilled and painted my support beam so lets hope this idea works.Would like an opinion on the suspension parts shall i keep em white to match the chassis,or do i do em a different colour maybe silver.Am going to clean the diff up and i think i will paint this silver if she dont clean up well;)

Do follow the advice to decant in to another container when painting, I use the ubiquitous GU Pot ramekins, as you get to eat the lemon cheesecake first. I did manage to seal a ramekin overnight using cling film, so I got to do another coat without wasting the excess.

It seems dear but if it saves the chassis its got to be worth it.cost me £120 so far which i think is fair for such a product.Not going to wax oil it once she is painted up as if she gets wet
i will dry the chassis and clean.Will clean under the car every 4 months,mad i hear you say:Dyes i know but i have done this with all my cars(that were any good)and can say without fear that every car i have sold people are always amazed by my undercarriage

I agree, but if you go for the three stage process it gets pretty pricey. I was impressed by how flexible it is, after it dripped on some newspaper. As with all paint the trick seems to be multiple thin coats.

If you put the lid back on a tin of POR put a double layer of cling film under the lid or you will never get it off again.
Wear gloves, if you get it on your hands (or face), it is staying there until the skin wears off in a month or so.

only had it 3 weeks,my hands are always in a right old state anyway so some paint on em may look good.Will wear gloves and eye protection cos ive been in hospital many times before with car related mishaps.Have been looking into those things called overalls cos i think im gonna need some,i always look like ive just come off the set of sons of anarchy anyway,so i may try to tidy my act up a bit
I used it not long ago on some engine mountings & a few other things. It is good stuff. As has been said, cling film over the can before puttin the lid on is the trick.
Before doing this though, wipe round the lid & the rim of the can with a piece of paper towel with some ordinary paint thinnners.
Same will get the stuff off your hands & you can clean your brushes in thinners as well.

A new beard infact wont stay long i nearly always have some type of face fungus,be it side burns(remember the flying pickets)or the good old pasty duster...they never stay long cos i dont want to loose my boyish good looks
