Cerb Indicator

I have a 2001 4.5 Cerb and turning right my indicator does not work, and it feels as though the stalk is not engaging/broken though it works fine for turning left (including self cancel), and the hazards function perfectly as well. I have tried the search function with no success hence this post. Has anyone else had this problem and rectified it that could give me some advice, and how easy is it to change, assuming it is a switch or the like for a novice?

Yes I can confirm the bulbs are fine. I have since looked on a parts website and it could be one of the following???
1. Flasher Relay
2. Flasher Lamp Control Box
3. Indicator Fail Control Box
All just a guess of course. Some of the above are exchange only and I would like to do it myself if at all possible.

I once spent a week looking at all the wire diagrams and I learned I'm crap at electrics.

For what it's worth I would check all the different connections for tightness, water or burn damage. Usually if it's a bulb that's not working I would look at an earth problem. By tonight I'm sure you will have the answer posted.

If the stalk doesn't feel right it's probably the microswitch. Not sure how to get at them though, sorry!

If the stalk as been forced then this will happen and you won't here the micro-switch 'click'

I had the same symptom when my car came back from MoT.

A gentle amount of pressure applied should bring it back in-line

Thanks Nick, I will try your suggestion though I did try several times (not surprisingly) at the time.
