adjusting idle
Discussion
There is a screw at the back of the offside bank, where the throttle arm is. Just screw it out a bit whilst the engine is running until you get it right. You will need to remove the engine cover to get to it, just undo the 2 allen bolts and washer jet pipes.
Hope that makes sense,
Jo

Best to get a dealer/indie to do this - adjusting the idle screw will change the throttle pot settings/air fuel mix.

Yeah, I wondered about this myself. But surely its just the same as putting a bit of pressure on the accelerator with your foot, and keeping the revs a bit higher? How does it adjust the throttle pot settings???
Jo
All done - idle now at aboy 1000rpm - OK, its a bit higher than it should be, but its stopping me stalling until I get the throttles balanced up. If anyone has the software I need to do this, please please please send it to me by Instant Messenger is something on jamesunderhill@hotmail.com.
