Cerbera outdoor car cover

I'm thinking of ordering a cover-zone weathershield but they are a bit on the pricey side.

I was wondering before I placed an order if anyone has an old cover that they want to sell that they have not bothered listing for sale.

Any feedback would be appreciated on the coverzone covers which look pretty good.

Mine lives out side and suffers no adverse effects.

I used to put a cover on it but noticed lots of scratches where the wind blew it about a bit and any dust just got rubbed into the paint, the car also got very damp inside but is bone dry without the cover on.

Only put a cover over it if
a) You don't value your paint.
b) You don't mind the smell of mould.

Thanks, was the cover a breathable one? I think that's very important

I've go a Hamilton Classics breathable one, which is also lined to protect the body.

No problems with mould or damage to paint.

I've got one of these, never had a problem with scratching or mould. But you do need to use common sense, don't put the cover on if you've just driven across a ploughed field and your car is covered in mud!

I got one with the car which I've never used as I've got a garage. Was going to hand it over with the next owner but as I'm planning on keeping the car for some time I've been thinking about selling it.

I'm fanatical about my paint, my past 3 cars have all been covered on the drive with no problems. Buy a Weathershield Noah cover and never put it on a dirty car (so either wash it or leave the cover off until you can wash it) if its only lightly dirty I use a no water wash (hand spray stuff) and a microfibre cloth so its clean. I also use a long bungy to keep the cover tight so it can't flap about.
If I could garage it I would, but don't have the space at the moment.

Used a cover on my chimp once for a period of 3months and ended up with a car that looked like an ice rink! Be warned

The moral is....get a decent cover, and buy one that people on here have used, and reccomend. A good cover dows not scratch.

I have a fitted cover for the 911 lined, breathable ,waterproof expensive, quite a few fine scratch's though?!

Mrs sponges z3 has an outside cover as recommended by me.......and i hate to say it but she now has some very fine scratches on it,they will polish out so i am not sure for us its pesky cats and a tt who has a workshop behind us who grinds and welds causing small rust spots on paint.....the foofin fecker,glad mines under lock and key;)

Yes but it still held some moisture where the material sat against the paint.

Spent shed loads on my cover and still ended up with scratches, I really do believe that you'd be better leaving it open to the elements with a watchful eye.
The most vulnerable parts of any Tiv is the underside show me a cover that protects from humidity

Clearly your experience differs from mine. I have never known a cover not leave holograms in the lacquer, or fail to cause condensation, regardless of being breathable or not.

Mine lives outside and my cats always sit on the car when I get back and it's stil warm and I've had no issues with either being outside or the cats. My car is now nearly 11 years old now.
