Real world mpg

Guys

What do your cerbs return in real world mpg (for which engine)? Tuscan owners are reporting c.25mpg when commuting - what about cerbs (magazines say 18)

No idea!
I have heard stories of circa 30mpg on a decent leisurely run. The idea of a cerb is that it doesn't matter.

Just interested, how are the TVR engines so efficient (relatively speaking) - ferraris etc don't make anywhere near these numbers

I averaged about 25mpg over 550 miles, most of that being motorway cruising last weekend. Mines a Cerbera 4.5

I thought that wasn't too bad considering the type of car but if MPG was a concern I wouldn't have bought the Cerb.

I work out my MPG off every tank, not because it bothers me but out of curiosity. The last tank worked out at 16.06mpg. My lowest has been 14, highest 21, the average seems to be about 18mpg.

Mine seems to vary a fair bit but best seems 20mpg but usually nearer 15mpg. 4.5. Apparantly remapping for increased driveability/power has the side affect of better mpg as well.

Never worried about it but purely for ding last week I did calculate it.

Hayling Island to Warwick and back. st traffic on the way there, took me 3 and a quarter hours, probably 1.5 hours queuing in total and a very spirited sprint up the M40, back home was better just a 10 minute queue for (another) crash at Newbury.

21.6 mpg. AJP 4.5

I never worried about fuel in 30k with the ferraris and the Jensen is a joy at around 9mpg... I just like knowing things

Much the same as mine mainly urban use no commuting or going anywhere for a reason just to go out for a blast 80% of the time between 14-19mpg for me. Sure on a run it may do more but thats no fun is it.

I've never bothered working out my MPG until I did the 550 mile round trip last weekend and that was just out of curiosity, I was interested to know what MPG I would get. I've no idea what I get normally but would guess its around 15MPG.

Ive never worked it out, just fill it up when it gets empty.

as a pure guess id say 18- 24 mpg on a 4.2 ajp.

My re-mapped 4.5 does 20-25 knocking about and on a long m-way run 30, but if its an issue a Cerb is not for you there are a myriad of other questions i would ask first about Cerbs before that one,

I did not even see that on a track day drove 60 miles to the track did 30 laps drove home and seen 17mpg could not believe it i get less kicking around at home lol

On a trackday I get around 6mpg.
