Had difficulties with opening the boot and had to get in the "secret" way. It looks like the round pressure switch behind the badge is acting up. Any ideas where to source a new one? Also the springs etc behind the badge have corroded so might replace them too.

Your local dealer is probably the easiest place, as there is little risk of them giving you the wrong part !

The solenoid died on out car a few months ago, new one from dealer £12, new one from local car alarm place £15 !!!

How do you get into the boot when all else fails? What is the "secret" way? Just so that I am prepared when the battery fails.

Yes, there is a secret way in, but it's a closely guarded secret !

Without meaning to sound rude, suggest you contact the dealer/garage/person you bought the car from & ask them.

There are always worries on here about the information getting out (to the wrong people) & cars being broken into.....

In fact its such a closely guarded secret that a TVR 'specialist' I used to use didn't even know it themselves and I was charged a suitably high labour charge to pay for their learning curve.

Mind you, they also said they wouldn't like to crash a Cerb since it didn't have roll-over bars to strengthen the roof. Hello, McFly?!

If your looking mail order, phone up the TVR centre in barnet they have the biggest stock of tvr parts outside the factory.
