Hi,

Anyone replaced the suspension bushes on their Cerb with poly ones?

If so, where did you get them from and did it make much difference?

Are the std bushes already quite a hard compound and therefore not that susceptible to wear?

Why I ask is that I have twice uprated bushes on two previous non-TVRs and the handling was greatly enhanced.

Joolz..are these the bushes TVR are taking forever and a day to supply? Could we use an alternative as I may be back in time for Piston fest and would prefer to arrive in a TVR.

I'll give you some context to my question.

I'm planning to remove the wishbones, clean them up and paint them with POR15 paint.

I was thinking that if any bushes needed replacing, I'd use poly ones, as its more of a DIY proposition.

Joo, why do you think they're no good?

I've used poly and even nylon bushes in the past and they've been ok.

Yup poly bushes are excellent, and I fit them all the time ..

what i thought you meant was you were just going to replace all the bushes for the hell of it, in which case you'd notice no improvement and they cost a fortune.

if you're just replacing a few bushes then yup poly versions will be great, just don't expect to improve the cerbera chassis that way cos u won't.
