Anyone know how to remove the seat cushion or whatever I need to do so that I can fit in the cerbie with a helmet on.

Fancy a pootle around the Nurburgring on a public day but want to protect the old head just in case...

Sounds promising...

How do you get at it to give it a pull so to speak...

This could descend into some sort of Carry On sketch quite easily!

erm... I don't quite know how to answer that in a different way.

The centre section of the soft padding of my seat is removeable by simply grabbing it and pulling. Underneath there are two velcro strips.

I thought this was the same for all cerbs?

Looking at the age of your car, it won't have the post 2000 seats with the removable base cushion. I am also tall and investigated making the seat cushion in mine removable but it looks like it will involve cutting the leather so haven't bothered.

Richard,

is a 1998 car - I had a look yesterday and couldn't see how it would work. Bit of a bugger that, it don't fancy ordering new seats just to go on a few track days!

Hi Dave,

Hope you are well.

Have you considered cosmetic surgery? Probably cheaper to have 6 inches chopped off your legs rather than buy later Cerbie seats!

See you next meeting.

Just thought I'd clarify, it's the Tuscan seats that have a removable seat option. These starting appearing in the Cerbera circa 2000.

Hi Barry,

Your constructive comments are most welcome, thank you.

Anyway, I don't suppose they'd do another set to match my interior, there's not many cornflower cows to be had anymore!

See you on the 7th assuming work don't send me somewhere 'nice'...

All the best
