Got next Tuesday at Snetterton booked with BaT. Have to take it steady (not done high bhp RWD on a track before) and hope she holds together

Needless to say, I've booked some instruction too

Yes, mine's the Moonraker Black one from Offord's. Although, in reality, it's actually "Halcyon Hebrides" (black with a hint of metallic green).

At the time, Castle's only had a solid red one with clatter cams in and a green one (ugh!) with a tan interior.

have you tried to get any paint and if so where from and was it any good ... need to touch in some stone chips!

do you go to any meetings would be fun to park next to each other (in a sad TVR sort of way!)

good luck on the track ... keep us posted ...

Carl/David

Bloody Hell - mines also Halcyon Hebridies - in need of a bit of paint as well, will see if there is an ICI distributor in the area and see what they can do.

I love it when people say "oh that looks good in black" and then see the green!!

I recently got some touch up from TVRBodyshop. They warned me Rosso Pearl was a hard one to match. They needn't have worried as it is an excellent match.

Well, TBH, I've had to cancel the trackday

Despite having the rad changed last week, the Cerb is still leaking coolant from somewhere (level has gone down and there are a few drops on the garage floor). But it's also losing a fair bit of oil from what I assume is the colostomy pot -- basically there's a breather hose (fat one) that comes out of the middle of the 'V' and goes into the bottom of the RHS airbox. It's all dripping down onto the body-coloured splash tray thing below, but I don't want to run the risk of it getting on something hot and catching fire! (Nor the other risk of running out of water).

Still, another time. FWIW I used my own dB meter (£35 digital one from Maplin's) to measure the exhaust noise: 106.8 dB with cats in place and sports pipes. Only good for Snetterton I think.

everytime I tried to take my lotus to castlecombe for a trackday something broke a few days before ... driveshaft and hit in a car park 2 years running week before ... causing quite a lot of damage ...

sorry you have had to cancel your day ... pull the covers off and get to know your car ... im sure its something simple ... look on the bright side!!

I'm sure it's something simple, but I don't have the time to diagnose and fix these things. Weekends are really my only opportunity, and I'm not going to have those free for the next few weeks either.
