Full Throttle!!
Discussion
Spent Saturday morning at my friend's garage setting the engine up with the laptop.
Had to make quite a bit of adjustment to the throttle link rods in order to get the correct readings on the syncrometer.
I got another friend to sit in the car to see if I was getting full throttle. There was approximately 15mm of travel remaining after the pedal was fully pushed into the carpet. This was adjusted to take up the slack at the throttle linkage.
Once balanced the engine sounded much crisper and the adaptive maps were virtually identical between the two banks.
Test drive...... what a transformation!!
The Cerb now goes like an absolute rocket. It was wet so I was very cautious through the corners, but still managed to spin the wheels in 3rd on the straight. Also get lots of 'anti-aircraft gun' salutes on the overrun.
I remember Clarkson saying that the Cerbera was one of the few cars that he rarely used full throttle - now I know why.
Since buying the car in September, it has been 'setup' once at a main dealer & had a full service at an indie. Surely it's not too much to expect them to have set the engine up right in the first place and more specifically notice that I wasn't getting full throttle by quite a margin?
I'm pleased with the new supercar performance, and looking on it philosophically that it was probably a good thing to serve the first 9 mths of Cerb ownership with the wick turned down!!

Don't you have an emerald onboard?

Sounds like you know what you are doing, and getting good results from your tinkering!
I was playing around with the laptop this weekend as well, and noticed if I floored the throttle the readings were only at 90% on the the laptop. What exactly is a syncrometer and what exactly did you do to setup your engine? I've always wondered how you adjust the throttle pots/linkeages etc.

According to the help files...
THROTTLE POSITION
Throttle position is displayed as a percentage of throttle potentiometer movement.
15% corresponds to a fully shut throttle, 94% to a fully open one. Idle position
is at approx. 19%. There are two throttle position sensors, one for each bank.
Page down to the third real-time screen to display throttle pot. readings only.
Throttle pot readings should be equal on both banks to within a few percent, and
must not fluctuate more than 3%. The readings should increase smoothly with
increasing throttle travel and remain approximately equal on both banks. If the
ECU detects a fault with one of the throttle pot readings it will substitute the
value from the other throttle pot, so they will both display EXACTLY THE SAME
READING.

Email sent Simon. I look forward to getting the reply!
Thanks T, but its the process of adjustment that I need. And the answer to my question of yesterday is the 'page up' and 'page down' keys to scroll through the windows! Doh!
Well... I was answering the 90% throttle thing really, as it should only go up to 94% anyway according to that.
I knew it was one of those keys in the top right corner
