Miles not quid.

Yep the old girl rolled over to 50k yesterday, she celebrated with a few extra pops and bangs. Seems to be using a bit of oil at the mo but I have a feeling the dipstick (the metal one, not me) under reads and so I might just be overfilling it.

Anyway there you go, 50k no engine work, no clutch, old clatter cams...

just baught mine with 52K ... I know you pays your money you takes your chances ... so fingers crossed

... heres to plenty more miles!!!

whats the highest milage before a rebuild youve heard of assuming sensible(?) use and no track time ....

going to get Offords to check her over and get the tappets checked soon ...

I've heard of one peaking 110k.... was in autotrader last year sometime.... ex-director company car.... mostly motorway miles i suspect.....

I think Steve Heath (SHPub on here) has one in the high 80K's with no rebuilds.

Simon Sparrow has at least 95K on his yellow beastie....on the original clatter cams too!

Up to 97300 now No engine rebuild (Yet..) as confirmed by the factory, clatter cams and all! Also done two track days this year already.

Bit disconcerted to hear that one has already gone over 100K, was hoping that I'd be the first

Which isn't to distract from you 50K in any way!

Good to see more and more high milage example being used!
