Anti-freeze recomendations

Before the cold weather hits hard I need to change a hose so will need to refill coolant. What is the recommended anti-freeze for the AJP? Don't want to have any corrosion/seal rotting issues!

The halfords own stuff is good the red stuff covers all bases and i think a few AJP guys on here use it as that's what i was told when i asked the question.

Yep, I use the red stuff and all is well.

OAT coolant (red stuff) is the newer tech and better but shouldn't be used in engines with copper or brass rads.

Saying that, I have it in mine and the rad leak is only getting a little worse as time goes on... #

See what colour is in the car presently and stick with that unless you're going to drain the system fully.

Make sure you don't mix red and blue as they react over time and turn to a gungy mess which eventually blocks pipes
