boot lock ?

The boot has decided not to open by normal means, when activated I can hear/feel the control box clicking but nothing at the lock?

How do I take the boot lock off to inspect please ?

Thankyou Peter & Steve,I am in the boot so to speak)but as my luck would have it appears,reading through the car's history that at some point a new lock has been fitted & they also "Reinforced" the fiberglass boot mounting. It looks as though its going to be fun getting at the lock now
