Tell me about it!

Just been out for my first run in over a week as I've been abroad, it was like taming a wild animal!

Quite a handful after I started to open her up, but we soon found harmony and had a great
blat around the country roads.

Adopts Cheshire cat mode.

Welcome to PH Paul - lovely looking car you have there Sir.

I'm still smiling 2 years on. Just back from Donington where we had 3 hours of open pit lane ( all for £100 ).
It was superb, anything else this thrilling would land me in the divorce courts
Had a nice duel with a 355 challenge car, Cerb stood up rather well i thought. I've just had Joolz sort me out revised springs on the back & uprated pads, great stuff Joolz, i think we're there!
Can seriously recommend Donington to all Cerb owners, especially you boys in the East Midlands, you've no excuse not too

Damn, wish I'd known about that.

Any more at £100 and what's the db limit like?

Glad you had a great day.

I see you bought it from Henley. I have a picture just like yours with the same background.

Ive had mine 3 months, went in the garage for 3 weeks (clutch and slave cylinder)- just got it back (2 days) and its in again (split radiator). Luckily the waranty that Henley provided has covered the latter. Getting it back to day, and I can start again.

GCerbera,

Next ones at that price are 13th & 27th August with Trakzone, i quite fancy the 13th Aug, are you up for a joint Cerb assault? We could try & gather a few of us together!
To confirm, its open pit lane, £100, & the noise limit is OK, i was fine in mine with its sports exhaust & there were a few bits of machinery a lot louder than me

The Donny noise limit is 98db driveby. I'm going to be there on monday in fact, but not in the Cerb.

The noise limit is 98 driveby, & Donington do have to enforce it ( the sound man was there last night ).
What amazed me was how loud 98db driveby actually is.
I know there's loads of science behind it, but in simple terms, there were some v.loud single seaters on with us & some incredibly loud racing Dukes on before us that made the ground shake

How much does 98dB drive by convert to as a static test? (I have an ex-race saloon that is approx 120dB static)

Do you have any contact details for Trakzone?

Many thanks

Indeed I am, its first real test after I've had it sorted out. Should be a laugh if I can get through the day without blowing the engine, the gearbox is getting spongier and unless I'm very firm it's easy to get 3rd rather than 5th

Thanks for that.

I'm going to put the car in for some work to get the car running smoothly (a little rough low
down since Le Mans - probably throttle pots) and then I'll be in touch.
(Just waiting for a date for it to be done.)
