starts then cuts out help please

hi i have had a starting issue which i cant get my head round its fires up and runs but stinks of fuel then it just cuts out.if any one has had this problem before please help.

Over fueling due to a dodgy lamda sensor or water in the connectors maybe? Injector stuck open?

Sounds like an injector bud.

so if it is injector would it cause it to cut out.is there a way to bypass the lambda sensor to rule that out.

You need to plug the laptop in to see what the Lamdas are doing.

do i need internet to do this or can i just use my laptop around at my garage.and do i open up the ecu for the connection i downloaded the software now

Hp internet needed, you need to download the software firth though. The connector is on the main ECU board so yes you need to open up the ECU.

cool i have downloaded software and got cable so once i get spare time al have to get car around to house for internet and give it a go i take it fairly easy to follow laptop once all pluged together
