EXHAUST HEADERS

hi,
i spent ages looking for some suitable stuff. loads of places do high heat stuff, but not hot enough for an exhaust manifold. clever trevor have the right stuff though. it's not cheap, about £12+vat and P&P.
Tvr028 was the part number, I can't find my can at the moment!!
I was a bit dubious as it's an aerosol and really thin, but seems to have done the trick

ceramic coated Act headers fitted , top quality parts from Act fitted no problem but what a asshole removing orginals , to be honest if it was not tips from the cerbera forums i would still be pissing about now, had help with a friend with a hydraulic lift
no way could i have done this with out his and his sons help .
First impressions of the Act headers very good , distance from the headers
to the off side wing is a good 30.MM+ the original was nearly touching! took out for a quick blast before the rains came in ,back home lifted bonnet and first immpressions very good .
I get the feeling owning a TVR is a bit like owning a old British Motorcycle get the spanners out once a week
and you will be rewarded with a fairly reliable piece of kit

I couldn't agree more, top quality parts and top service, Tim is a top bloke as well.Not seen you for a while Mike but Jason at Power told me about all those extra horses recently discovered deep within your car

Car is a totaly different from the car i bought over 12 months ago (and it was good then) fitted nitrons and had the geo set up ,fitted ACT big bore exhaust system , new clutch and slave and a remap at Power .
The under bonnet temps concerned me so i fitted a set of ATC stainless manifolds with a ceramic coating (Zirtech) and boy what a difference thats made, heat soak into the variouse bits has been noticably reduced .
Still cannot gel with the car tho i think after riding Bikes for the last 40 years i am still a bike person at heart .
