sp6 wont switch on, no MIL light

Hi all
I have sp6 cerbera that i cant get started ,seems to be fault with ignition or immobizer,
can here fuel pump running and everthing else on car working ,lights,horn ,wipers,radio ,doors lock and unlock off fob and all indicators flash,Then switch silver key on press start button and as always battery light comes on but NO MIL light ,press button again to start and nothing??????????????
checked all fuses in boot,all ok,
any ideas ????

ps i ve had it 3yrs and its always played up when press stop buttom sometimes it works other time i have to stall it ,thinking could all be linked

I'd reckon you have a faulty circuit in the immobiliser.

Carl Baker should be able to sort it for you (search for him).

An indie may also be able to help you.

As you are not a regular poster on here you'll appreciate we won't be the most helpful people you've met when it comes to giving out lots of info re how to start a Cerb.

Hi Carl

It sounds like you use the silver key every time you turn the engine on and off.

The silver key does not like being turned too often as many owners will tell you.

It could be a wire has fallen off the back of the silver key switch as it has been turned so often.

Might be worth a check.

hi thanks for the tips ,totally understand what you mean about not giving out tips on starting cars,but it is mine honest lol,i ve owned it about 3yrs and this is 1st problem /fault its had ,bet thats a record for a tvr.....carl

just to let you know have just got cerb started ,pulled ignition relay out ,put it back in and away it went ,so was either stuck or pulling it out reset something,happy times again thanks all
