cerbera gt

I saw a purple cerbera gt yesterday and loved the look of it but would like to know what is the difference with a gt version and how rare are they?

No such thing as a true GT car. GT was used on the line to show the difference between the 4.2 and the new 4.5. As soon as everything settled down GT was stopped and the line was simply 4.5. There are a few cars badged GT and a few with a little different metal work but there simply 4.5s with early teething/parts issues.

Just to add... I would not be suprised if the GT was not once again used when the body had its little make overs. But I'm only guessing on that one.

Thanks Garfy ,well it seems I was spotted twice yesterday running about here & there ,but the other person has said he saw a "Pink" Cerbera!!!

John it sounded absolutely wonderful and from the back it looked awesome am i correct in saying it looks a little chunkier than normal cerbs. I was behind you briefly in my van as you pulled away from the lights just past the MoD at filton. I love the back end of my chim but the cerb really looks the dogs.You are one lucky person.

I spoke to one of the guys who worked on your car and he explained the reason for the slight different mounts. It was down to parts supply at the time and as soon as parts arrived things went back to normal. As far as I know there is only two true LTs out there as they were a pile of poo to keep the bodywork from bending. If you want to get in touch with the builder let me know and I'll sort you out his number.

As for the lights... Yes get them back to original.

Coincidentally I 'nearly' bought your car a few years back ....

Wherabouts are you - TVRCC run on Sat - I see your up for Chatsworth - a few of us are going from Bristol I think...

Thank you Garfy, I don't think the body is any different ,it is a bit lower so may have looked that way if you were higher up in a van ?

Hi Paul I'm not a member of the club, yes it was a really nice day at Sherbourne ,I loved it when all the Bikes charged out at the end Lol
Did you nearly buy it from Brian near Exeter or when John(h19 jjm) owned it ? How come you did not bother with it ...too Pink! Lol
Yes I should be going to Cotswolds Easter Saturday not going to Chatsworth though .

There was some press cars built at the time with some engine tweaks. I wonder if this is one of them built for thiem? I know they were known as specials on the line. If you want to know the full factory details of your car and not what it may or may not be drop me a line.
