Having made the wise decision to trade up to a Cerbera from my S3, I had a nightmare thought this morning...

Will it fit in my garage...

Having checked reviews for the measurements, I'm told the Cerbera is 4.28m long and 1.86 wide, while old reviews of the S list it as 156" long (3.96m) and depending on the article either 57" or 76" wide (1.45m sounds too thin, while 1.93m sounds too wide, even including wing mirrors.

Length wise the extra foot and a bit will just fit, but its the width I'm worried about, Has anyone been the same route or performed a girth comparison?

Lake might be able to help you since he fitted a Cerb in his Griff garage space. I think Griffs are a little shorter and wider than the S.

Griff
width 1943mm
length 3892mm

I used to have an S3 and now have a Cerbera (that's for sale if you're interested!) and they both fit in my garage no problem at all. The Cerbera required me to clear out all the junk I had, but fitted ok and allowed me to get out.

Beano500 also got his Griff in the same size garage and these are smaller than your average garage (unfortunately I don't know the exact measurements).

Tripps,

More than willing to pop round 1 day for a test fitting if you like.

Thanks PDAVision, thats reassuring for me, reckon I've got two foot extra length-wise if I clear out a bit and perhaps guy a goat to mow the lawn, so I can chunk out the mower!

Only started worrying as a neighbour has to push his 355 into his garage which is the same size as mine.

I've seen yours on AB's website and it does look fantastic, I'm looking for a 4.5 at the moment mind, but I may well pop over to have a closer look...

beano500 - already mounted carpet on the support posts in the middle of the garage, makes life so much easier - just need to get a Cerbera that matches them, or persuade the wife to recarpet the house in the same colour as the car I get, so I can use the off-cuts.

Cheers mate, didn't want to ask as it takes longer than you'd think to travel the few miles through London to me and I'd be worried about you risking that lovely £350 a litre paintwork!!!

From memory the 355 is quite a bit wider than the Cerbera. The carpet is a great idea, especially with the electric door release.

My Cerbie is at a different garage now (nothing against Adrian Blyth - his service was A1), but if want to have a closer look let me know.

Happy hunting!
