My First Cerb

Well as the titles says got my first cerbera last week, I have a sag, griff, and chim. Thought its time to find out what all the fuss is about these flying machines.

First job is change the colour so I've repainted it in orange this week will upload the photos tomorrow, will send it for retrim late next week while power rebuild the engine to their 4.7 option ( brought the car with blown engine and quite tatty) hope to load all the pics over the next few weeks and will report on how I think they compare to the other models

So, we have a new owner who has not only saved a Cerb, but has kept the AJP ethos (albeit slightly massaged) and then painted it in a decent colour

I'd be pleased to hear more on you interior tidy up. I am thinking of tidying mine also and looking for ideas or companies.

It's not in bad shape but I get a bit OCD about interiors.

We have a company who do all our trim work and the quality is outstaning better than the factory and i believe theirs was amongst the best!!!

Hi Rich,

That's uncanny, I've just been offered a Cerb with engine issues and was thinking about a 4.7 build.

Any ideas of cost?

I am keeping the lights they look good with the tinted lense over them will upload finished pics tomorrow.

I believe the total engine cost to be 6-8k not ask

Hows the chassis? Looks like a 'white' one - is it being repaired body off?

Plan is to take the body off once glass is refitted, acid dip and repair if needed, zinc plate and powder coat then rebuild with new bushes and bolts

All the panels have 1993 stamped on them, I don't have the log book yet so don't know the reg year
