Valve shims

Who is in Lincolnshire or nearby who can supply me with valve shims? Preferably open tomorrow !!

You'll be lucky! I never found a motor factor that stocked them or managed to work out what they are from. TVR Power will generally stick them in an envelope the same day if you phone up and tell them what you want.

I'm still calculating what sizes I need hopefully I might be able to re-use some along the way, although they all were way out the recommended 8 and 10 thou , as much as 18thou on inlet and 22 on exhaust side, not all consistent either so I'm hoping this makes a big difference to the engines running.

When I did mine, I found that by a combination of swapping them round and thinning them down with an oil stone I only needed to buy a few new ones.
