Hello!
A question about buying, which I hope is a little different from the norm.
I've spent time in the archives and am totally confused about taking the S6 route or the V8.
The main reason I guess for the S6 is the seats - Tuscan style ones - which I think are really lovely and want in my Cerb when the time comes to buy.
Were these only available on the S6 Cerb or were they an option on the 4.2 / 4.5 ?
Is a retro fit possible in exchange for the existing seats (the ones with the seperate headrests) and what kind of money would I be looking at?
Finally, I have searched (net all that hard I must admit) on the net for a tuning company where I could see the various options available & with prices:
sports pipes, de-cat systems, 6 pot calipers
...but cant find anything.
Would like to factor these typed things into my initial purchase budget (new car with new goodies), so could anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance guys and gals

Phil, I think all the new cars are fitted with the Tuscan style seats. I believe they were first introduced on the LW models in about 1999/2000.

If you look on the www.tvrgear.com web-site you should be able to find the price for new seats. From memory I think they are >£1k.

There are a couple of places you could look for upgrades one of them is www.joospeed.co.uk and the other place is www.tvr-power.co.uk . These are not the only places, but are the ones that immediately spring to mind.
I hope this is of some help.
Neil.

I know quite a few people who say the older style are more comfortable and perhaps
offer better safety on a side impact.
Go create some weather...

Cheers for this guys, most helpful - just got to find the car now!
Thinking more into it, I would like a V8 for the sound and that awesome over run noise.
The S6 was good, but the one I drove didn't pop as much.
Must say, I haven't seen many V8's with the Tuscan seats, should open me eyes I guess.
Thanks again.
