The listing states that "WHEN YOU GET PAST 3000RPM IT MISSFIRES AND CHUCKS MILKY OIL/WATER OUT OF THE AIR DUCTS AT THE FRONT".

Doesn't this suggest that the problem is a bit more than just head gasket failure?

Considering how far the air ducts are from the engine there must be something cracked somewhere.

At £4500 it was the bargain of the week - at £7000, I think not!

bit of a shame that the car didnt go into an enthusiasts hands at the £4k price, would have made a sensible project for someone (me) lol.

But now at £7 or £8k it makes it less attractive - so the oppertunity to turn the car around is now gone..

By the time you respray it, get decent wheels, rebuild engine, fix all the hidden issues etc it could cost £15k if you're not doing it yourself!

The original advert where it sold for 4500 said it had froze up , and to be chucking water out the inlet it's a very severe failure whatever it is , read the sellers feedback it's comical
