Lambda Sensor 4.5 Cerbera 98

Most lambda sensores are not bespoke to a vehicle, only the plug which a manufacturer will largly inflate the price to.

Can any body tell me what type they are, Zirconia etc, what voltage range they are, and how many leads they have, as I was going to order a couple of generic ones from ebay or such and see no reason why they shoudl not work. Failing that, what car have TVR nabbed them from when they manufactured them?

Off the top of my head I think they are 3 wire, Zirconia and 0-1v range. But just wanted verification!

Lambda sensors are the titania type which is why they are more expensive than normal Zirconia. Instead of an analogue output they switch between high and low, can't remember if its 0-1v or 0-5v.

Anyway if you want to cut the plugs off and fit universal you can get them here, IIRC the original plug is landrover.

The ones listed are for the 4.2 ,are they the same for a 4.5 ?

Hi,

I replaced both of my Lambda sensors 6 months ago on my Cerb 4.5, I got the from lrdirect part number ERR6729. It cost me 110 for a pair including delivery. I bought the Britpart ones.
