GoPro Hero Mounting Suggestions

I've seen one mounted in the front air intake next to the number plate, any other suggestions? This would be for both road and track use (although primarily track).

If your going to have it mounted outside the cabin it'll need to be secured with some sort of fixing as no suction mounts are allowed now by a lot of track day organisers. I would go for middle of the opening at the front. Low down seems to provide a good perspective with good sensation of speed.

If you mount inside the cabin then can you use the roll over bar?
The trim is easily removed and a simple bracket should suffice.

Failing that, stick it on the side of your helmet ( crash variety )

I have a mount on the windscreen just under the rear view mirror. It isn't visible from inside the car as the mirror hides it unless the camera is clipped to it.

i put mine on the top of the passenger seat and squash the headrest onto it. stays there very well, dont need any fixings or anything ( although a zip tie might help on track days. i have to put the seat firmly against the back bolster to stop shake. and also its easy from there to run an external mike into the boot for the best soundtrack :-)

I quite like the look of dogCamsport minidvr hd package. The camera is small enough to fit in or on the helmet plus a variety of mount options.

Just discovered that the GoPro has an upside down mode, so this looks like a good option if I can find a suitable bracket - any thoughts?
