Don't know if anyone is interested but I've decided (finally) that I am going to change the car and would ideally love a cerb - the only thing that is holding me back at the minute is the trade in I would get for my 2000 w Grand Cheeroke so....

Is anyone interested in doing a swap - perhaps your curcumstances have changed and your in the same boat as me - if so please get in touch as I can't bear the thought of lossing even more money on a car.

Cheers

Gareth

Gaz, have you thought of eBay? Sold my Griff on there before buying the Cerb, dealer offered me £10k (cheeky b'stards)but sold it for £12k on eBay. Only cost you £40-50, worth a shot before greasing the palms of a dealer <shrug>?

Hi ya NJW, Good choice on Sporties car, I met him at a West Mids meet, it is a tad on the loud side.

You made a good point about the dealer offering only 10K, but then it fetched 12k.

I dont like to defend dealers, but surely after forking out 10k, by law, having to supply a 3 month warranty & then having to have it sat round to return 12k.

I dont think they were being over greedy.

I'm probably wrong, but worth thinking about.

Good luck with that beautiful cerb

Hi Russell,

Im glad you said it was on the noisy side, as not really having been around too many other Cerbs I was wondering if it was louder than the norm (even with sports pipes/decat etc)& I was just being a wuss.

After 2 weeks of ownership I was considering putting the cats back in as I was scaring neighbours/small children/pets etc, as well as the car wash chap this morning who was cleaning round the arse end (of the car, not mine) when his mate asked for the obligatory blip of the throttle. Said chap round the back promptly jumped up & back then fell flat on his arse. Chuckle? I nearly died :-)

3 weeks + and its a 'sod it, leave the cats out, having too much fun' :-)
